Dear visitor, Thank you for visiting my web-page. My name is Daniel Rudas, and I was born on 8th of April, 1982 in Hungary, Debrecen city in a Jewish family.
I have studied:
2000-2004 The Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, Faculty of Classical singing
2004-2008 Budapest Business School, Faculty of Commerce, Catering and Tourism, Faculty of Commerce, specialization for marketing and advertisement management (BSc)
2007 Holon Institute of Technology, Holon – Israel, Faculty of Management
2009-2011 University of West-Hungary Faculty of Economics, Faculty of International Economy and Management, specialization for international finance, accounting and controlling (MSc)
2013 - University of Jewish Studies, Hungary, Faculty of Jewish Liturgy and Chazanut (BSc)
My career as a chazan:
2011 – Joining to the choir of the Dohány Street Synagogue
2012 – Starting Jewish liturgical and cantor studies at the Budapest University of Jewish Studies
2013 – Debuted as a cantor on the High Holidays
2014 – Officially became a chazan of the Dohány Street Synagogue
Since 2013 I am participating in many prays, concerts, Jewish Cultural Festival Budapest, conferences, performances as a solo and with the choir of the Dohány Street Synagogue in different countries like: Hungary, Serbia, Austria, Slovakia, Germany, Switzerland, U.S.A.
I speak the following languages: Hungarian, English, German, Hebrew
